Maplewood Independent Living are looking for Carers / Support Workers in and around the Suffolk area. We are looking to expand in Haverhill, Saffron Waldon, and Bury St Edmunds with supporting clients in their own home. You would need to be able to drive and have business insurance. The Requirements * Reliable with an excellent work ethic. * Provide the highest standards of care and support. * Respect the individuality and confidentiality of the service users. * Respect the service user’s independence and authority, be mindful of their wishes and to always treat them with fairness and courtesy. * Ensure and adhere to strict standards of health and safety thereby ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the service users and themselves at all times. * Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. * Have a valid driving licence, own transport with business insurance. Desired Skills * Previous experience is advantageous, however not essential as comprehensive training will be provided. * Excellent communications skills – good standard of spoken and written English. * Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy. * Good timekeeping. * Smart professional appearance. * Dedicated team player.
