Service and Workshop Engineer required for an industry leading company who are seeing continued growth. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a company who can offer ongoing training and development whilst working in a range of industries from pharmaceutical, oil and gas, refineries, utilities etc.

This role would suit candidates with an electromechanical background; candidates with a strong mechanical or electrical bias will also be suitable. The successful candidate will split their time equally between the company’s site in Nailsea and working at customer sites. 80% of site work is based within the UK, with occasional work in Europe.

You will work on a variety of water treatment & soil and groundwater remediation projects which will involve the installation, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment. When working on installation projects, you can expect to travel for up to a week at a time; however, most service/repair activities are usually completed the same day.

The Service and Workshop Engineer Role:

  • Installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems
  • 50:50 Workshop and site based
  • Electrical – working with 3phase equipment, inverters, PLCs etc.
  • Mechanical – working with hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, actuators etc.

The Service and Workshop Engineer Candidate:

  • Mechanical and/or electrical background
  • Any engineering background
