Teamforce Labour are currently seeking experienced Groundworkers for an immediate start in Seaham, Durham (SR7). This role will be supporting a respected civil engineering contractor on a key infrastructure project. Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and demonstrate a high standard of workmanship, particularly in kerb laying.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Groundworker on civil engineering projects
- Strong competency in kerbing, drainage, ducting, foundations, and concreting
- Valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card – Groundworks
- NVQ Level 2 Diploma (essential)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and solid understanding of health and safety regulations
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of groundworks including excavation, ducting, drainage, foundations and kerbing
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification
- Work collaboratively with site teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and comply with site rules at all times
