Position Overview: We are looking for a Technical Engineer to join our team in Manchester. This role would suit an experienced support engineer, or engineer with networking experience, that can work across a range of technologies. Responsibilities: Some of the day-to-day activities in this role include: Working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve network and security tasks Taking ownership and performing prompt and effective incident investigation applying sound problem-solving methods to determine scope, urgency, and potential impact across a wide range of IT systems Assisting with scoping and design tasks Creating, updating & maintaining and review client network documentation Managing of risk and downtime during maintenance windows Qualifications & Experience: For this role, the right candidate will have experience of: CNA (Routing & Switching) | CCNP Fortinet Certified Associate (FCA) or higher VOIP – Teams Voice We are also looking for solid working knowledge and experience across the following technologies: Firewalls: Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, Cisco Meraki Switching: Cisco, Cisco Meraki Wireless: Cisco Meraki Routing: OSPF, BGP, VPN, SSL VPN Cloud: Azure Express Route, Azure NSG WAN/LAN Networking: MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, VPN Click here for the list of benefits. #LI-Hybrid The budgeted salary for this role is between £40,000 and £55,000 annually, depending on experience. Hybrid working: This hybrid role, with a remote-first emphasis, necessitates being in the office or at a client site for 4 days each month.
