Are you a senior risk leader with deep knowledge of equities and regulatory risk frameworks, ready to step into a top-tier role at a fast-growing Prime Brokerage?
We are working with an ambitious SME Prime Brokerage firm based in the heart of London, looking to appoint a strategic and hands-on Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead their risk function.
You will be joining a highly collaborative leadership team at a pivotal time in their growth, with the opportunity to shape and drive the firm’s entire risk management framework across market, credit, operational, and prudential risk in a regulated and agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Build, enhance, and lead a comprehensive risk management framework
- Provide 2LoD oversight, offering challenge and direction on risk appetite and strategic decisions
- Oversee ICARA and MIFIDPRU8 regulatory obligations and prudential risk disclosures
- Act as primary liaison with the regulator (FCA) on risk-related matters
- Chair the Risk Committee and contribute to board-level reporting and strategic risk guidance
- Regularly deliver KRI reports, support internal education on risk, and mentor a growing team
