My client, who is a local authority, is looking for a number of Housing Options Officers to support them in reducing backlogs and waiting times for homeless applications. The role involves triaging cases and conducting casework, making informed decisions on homelessness applications. You will play a key role in providing advice, assessing housing needs, and helping applicants navigate their housing options.

A VALID DBS IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the triage process for homeless applications.
  • Make decisions on cases in line with housing legislation.
  • Provide advice and guidance on housing options to applicants.
