Our superb, friendly and vibrant pub situated on the beautiful river Thames is seeking an experienced Commis Chef to join our fun and busy kitchen team. We are seeking someone who is keen to work an initial 3-4 month contract (with possible view to extension/perm opportunities).
For this role we are seeking:
- Someone with previous experience in a Commis Chef role, who is able to support the preparation of foods, salads, desserts and help in running our outside pizza oven.
- Preparation of ingredients, food storing, and getting stuck in with cooking.
- A keen learner with a clear passion for high-quality dishes.
- Previous experience in a busy pub or restaurant environment.
- A can-do attitude, with forward thinking and ability to remain calm in busy periods.
- Someone fun and keen to try new things and help support in our weekly summer menu changes, coming forward with ideas and suggestions.
We charge a service charge to our customers, so HUGE opportunity for you to personally gain up to 600 a month in additional tips, dependent on hours worked. We would love someone who is happy with a minimum of 35 hours a week of work. We also provide you with great food to eat whilst working. For more information please apply today.
