Warehouse Supervisor Birmingham Up to £30,000 + Benefits Seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a leading distribution group. Key Responsibilities : Secure the site at the end of each day in compliance with local regulations. Accurately receive and check goods upon arrival in the warehouse. Collaborate closely with the warehouse and production teams. Manage the control of received goods, “in transit” stock, and dispatched goods. Carry out duties safely, adhering to relevant legislation Keep the warehouse and yard consistently clean and organised, promptly clearing spills and minimising waste. Oversee day-to-day operations in the warehouse department. Requirements: Previous warehouse experience Experience of working within a manual picking environment Understanding of how a transport operation works Strong understanding of Health & Safety Be proactive and showcase the ability organise workload Demonstrate good verbal communication, knowledge of a warehouse environment and interpersonal skills Ability to implement good working practices [GWP] and Health and Safety measures.
