Children\’s Short Break Support Worker Location: Middlesbrough Contract Type: Temporary (with potential to become permanent) Working Pattern: Full Time Hours: Includes evenings, weekends, early mornings, school holidays, and bank holidays Are you a caring, creative, and enthusiastic individual with experience supporting children with disabilities? We’re looking for someone just like you to join our dedicated team in a short break setting within the Home Support Team in Middlesbrough. As a Short Break Support Worker, you will: Provide high-quality care and support to children with a range of disabilities Carry out personal care as part of your duties Support children who may have difficulty forming relationships, following routines, accepting boundaries, or who may display challenging behaviour Work split shifts, including evenings, weekends, early mornings, school holidays, and bank holidays We\’re looking for someone who: Has relevant experience working with children with additional needs Brings a professional, flexible, and compassionate approach to care Can think quickly, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team Holds a Full UK Driving Licence and has access to a vehicle with business insurance This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
