About the Role
Due to exciting new business wins and continued growth, we are looking for a Senior / Principal Nuclear Safety Consultant to join our expanding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nuclear safety projects, providing high-quality technical consultancy to clients within the Defence or Civil Nuclear Power Generation sectors.
- Develop safety cases, assessments, and strategies in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, define project requirements, and ensure project delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing expert guidance and technical support in nuclear safety.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety evaluations, with experience or exposure to Probabilistic Safety Analysis (PSA) being a desirable asset.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in Nuclear Safety Consultancy within Defence or Civil Power Generation industries.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear safety regulations, safety case development, and safety management processes.
- An ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- UK Nationality is essential due to security requirements in the defence sector.
- Experience in Probabilistic Safety Analysis (PSA) is advantageous, but not essential.
