Building Services Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Services Manager to lead the delivery of a high profile residential development of over 200 units in West London The project has an MEP value of approximately £14 million and is already well into construction, with completion scheduled for early 2027 A strong pipeline of future projects is in place, offering continuity beyond this scheme You will join an established and well resourced project team You will manage a highly reputable M and E subcontractor recognised for quality and reliability An Assistant Building Services Manager will support you on site, allowing you to focus on leadership, technical oversight, and strategic delivery Key Responsibilities • Lead the on site delivery of all mechanical and electrical works, ensuring safety, quality, and programme compliance • Manage and coordinate the M and E contractor and specialist subcontractors, maintaining clear communication and progress tracking • Oversee technical reviews, approvals, and inspections to ensure works align with specification and design intent • Provide leadership and guidance to the Assistant Building Services Manager, supporting their development and performance • Work closely with project, design, and commercial teams to ensure seamless coordination across all disciplines • Contribute to value engineering, risk management, and commissioning and handover planning • Maintain strong client engagement and ensure smooth system sign off and successful project handover About You • Proven experience delivering MEP services on large scale residential or mixed use developments • Strong technical knowledge of building services systems and installation sequencing • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractor performance • Commercially aware, organised, and confident working in a delivery focused environment • Collaborative, solutions driven, and comfortable operating in a fast paced construction setting What’s on Offer • Salary of £85,000 • Benefits package including car allowance, travel expenses, private healthcare, and pension • Clear team structure with an Assistant Building Services Manager reporting directly to you This role is ideal for an experienced Building Services Manager who enjoys taking ownership of delivery, leading a capable team, and working with trusted subcontractors to achieve the highest standards.
