Transport Controller

Hybrid Recruit are actively recruiting for a Transport Controller with experience working within logistics or supply chain management with a focus on internal fleet movements. The successful Transport Controller will be responsible for taking responsibility for schedule changes of the internal fleet. Responsibilities of the Transport Controller: Managing Fleet and Transport capacity across 4 depots to enable deliveries to be completed in the most commercial way. Ensure efficient allocation of fleet whilst understanding cost implications if applicable and operational impacts on time and resource. To keep The Hire desk and respective Depots fully informed of the outcomes of any external Transport required. To follow Transport & Fleet processes, including 3 quotes rules / alternative offerings and escalations.
