MET TECHNICIAN / STRIP FITTER
Position Details:
- Salary: £37,000 – £42,000
- Working Hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
- Location: Uttoxeter
We are seeking a talented and efficient MET Technician / Strip Fitter to join our leading team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturers\’ specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilizing modern equipment and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
- Follow correct repair techniques to produce work that meets factory specifications and ensures customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter and possession of a relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, ATA).
- Previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter in a busy body shop environment.
- Strong team player with self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
- Commitment to high standards and up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
