Ruby Developer - Remote - UK based - Up to £85 K - SaaS
Christopher Ali have partnered up with an innovative UK based SaaS start-up who are at a watershed in its growth and require a Senior Ruby Developer to join the team. They have already developed industry leading software for a number of household names and are gearing up for their next stage of growth.
The Role:
They are looking for experienced developers who get excited about building things no one has ever done before. Having a unique business and scale problems to overcome, they need some great problem solvers to tackle unique technical challenges. The ideal candidate has many years of commercial experience solving problems in a secure, scalable and maintainable way. Tech stack is currently Rails extensively along with Python and Go for supporting services. They are pragmatic about using the best tool to solve the problem at hand and candidates will be expected to take a lead role in building out our core technology stacks working across multiple languages and frameworks.
Skills Required:
- Experience with Rails (or similar framework)
- Experience in operating large systems (following an SRE approach)
- API experience, both creating and integrating with
- Experience in testing large complex applications using a test driven approach
- Previous experience designing, building and maintaining applications covering both the frontend and backend
- Having used OpenCV and/or other image manipulation tools would be helpful
This is a fully remote role, the team is spread throughout the UK and abroad. While they meet occasionally for meetings and socials your day to day work will be from home.
