We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Co-ordinator to join an established and growing new-build residential developer based in Cannock. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dedicated team that prides itself on delivering high-quality homes. The role offers a mix of on-site and office-based work, providing variety and exposure to different stages of development. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the technical aspects of residential developments from initial design stages to project completion. Manage 2-3 sites at varying stages of development, ensuring progress aligns with schedules and quality standards. Handle consultant contracts, fee proposals, and appointments, ensuring clarity and efficiency in engagements. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and compliant with all regulatory standards. Coordinate and submit all technical information, such as working drawings and consultant documents, to building control and warranty providers. Proactively identify and resolve design-related challenges to keep projects on track. About You: Proven experience as a Technical Co-ordinator or similar role, preferably in the residential and new build sector.. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design/drafting software is advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Proven experience in residential construction or housing development is essential. Familiarity with NHBC Standards, Building Regulations, and warranty providers. Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A HND/HNC in Construction or Building Studies can also be considered for candidates with extensive experience.
