To proactively manage the availability of the team, directly and through line management, including annual leave, sickness, training and any other reason. To manage and monitor the cost and use of materials. To manage and monitor subcontractors when engaged in carrying our work on the company’s behalf. To manage a range of work priorities to meet stringent deadlines whilst meeting agreed standards; to advise the Asbestos Manager on any arising / emergency issues. To work as one team to utilise the team efficiently and effectively. To liaise, communicate and work with other stakeholders such as client representatives, suppliers, contractors, colleagues, residents as required. To understand, take responsibility for, and report performance, both financial and operational, internally and externally as required. To work to continuously improve the productivity and service delivery. Experience and Qualifications required Ability to create develop relationships with various stakeholders Relevant experience as a manager in a relevant environment Understanding of Health & Safety Regulations Working knowledge of Asbestos policy & procedures Application of Risk Assessments / Method Statements Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams. Project management and delivery experience. Working knowledge of Schedule of Rates. To write and present operational and commercial reports to internal and external audiences. To be able read, understand and interpret risk assessments and method statements. Ability to deal sympathetically with residents and leaseholders. Ability to communicate effectively with a positive approach to solving daily work challenges. Use company ICT to receive and manage daily work schedules. To be able to drive, have a full, clean, current driving licence Desirable To hold IOSH Managing Safety or SMSTS or will obtain IOSH or SMSTS if successful
