Senior Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: UK (Remote)

Salary: £80,000 per annum (Permanent Role)

Key Responsibilities:

Global Network Operations:

• Provide support for the global data and security network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex LAN, WAN, DNS, and firewall issues.
• Serve as the regional SME and escalation point for EMEA network operations.
• Lead technical troubleshooting efforts and guide junior engineers globally.
• Identify and resolve network performance issues to enhance uptime and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, problem management, and post-incident reviews.

Network Projects & Implementation:

• Deliver strategic infrastructure projects such as site buildouts, M&A integrations, tech refreshes, and security enhancements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience/certification.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and security.
• Cisco certification (minimum CCNP) is required ; advanced or security-focused certs are a plus.
• Strong background with enterprise networking tools and technologies.
