Job Description
General Scope and Purpose: To provide a positively memorable stay. Assist guests with luggage (good physical strength required).
General information on the services provided by Chelsea Cloisters and of London in general:
- To assist with transportation for guests as required.
- Receiving and recording of mail and parcels delivered to the Reception desk.
- Check-in/ Check-out, emails and daily reception like tasks.
- To assist the Reception Supervisor when required.
Hours of work:
- Full-time position 40hrs per week The Front Office operates 365 days a year, 24/7 so shifts will vary pending business levels and requirements.
Shifts:
- 8 hours per day, including 30 mins break. 5 days on/ 2 days off.
Requirements:
- The person: Needs to be physically fit as there will be some lifting and carrying.
- Previous customer service in a large hotel and use of Front Office PMS is ESSENTIAL.
- The person will need to provide information to guests travelling around London and help resolve issues as they arise.
- Previous hotel experience is essential.
- Smart appearance and good grooming standards are expected.
- Good command of written and spoken English language required, other languages an advantage
