CMA is recruiting exclusively for our rapidly expanding Christchurch based client who have a new requirement for an experienced Accountant to join their team.
This opportunity offers hybrid working on a permanent basis with study support and ongoing career development and career prospects.
This position offers you the chance to join a fast-paced finance function as they modernise and grow the team structure. Our client is seeking driven individuals who has a background in production of service charge accounts taking ownership of a portfolio of clients.
What will the Accountant role involve?
- Preparation of service charge accounts;
- Preparation and review of statements and building reports for senior management and stakeholders;
- High volume reconciliation;
- Competing full service charge cycle including audit process;
- Complete query resolution working closely with property managers.
Suitable Candidate for the Accountant vacancy:
- Previous service charge experience and understanding of service charge regulations;
- Excellent communications skills, strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel with accurate data entry.
- Motivated, quick learner who is organised, efficient, and a team player with a passion for accounting.
- Experience with accounting software highly desirable with experience of property management system.
