About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Operations and Channel Manager to lead the execution of Newcastle United’s content production and distribution workflows. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing content planning, production schedules, and operational logistics—ensuring the right content reaches the right teams at the right time across the club.
You will drive efficiency in content delivery, uphold alignment with our brand identity, and champion best practices in content operations. As the primary point of contact for content requests, you’ll implement and oversee clear briefing and delivery processes across multiple stakeholders.
Your impact
You bring a solid background in content operations, planning, or production management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale workflows and cross-functional teams.
Your strong organisational and operational skills enable you to juggle multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure without compromising quality. You’re a proactive problem solver, comfortable in fast-paced environments, and adept at navigating tight deadlines.
You have experience working with both internal stakeholders and external agencies, and you’re confident in managing expectations and delivering results.
You’re also familiar with digital asset management (DAM) systems, content planning tools, and workflow automation solutions—bringing a tech-savvy approach to streamlining content processes.
About the team
You’ll report to the Head of Content and work closely with the wider Content team, collaborating regularly with our commercial department and other key stakeholders across the club.
Location
This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with an expectation of working 3 days per week from the office. Please note, if you are not located in the Northeast and unable to relocate, we regret that we will not be able to progress your application.
