A global investment firm is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who has a genuine interest in the investment industry. This person must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be highly organised, and display a proactive attitude. As an integral member of the Client Group, you will provide essential support to Sales and Relationship Directors. Your focus will be on relationship building, sales processes, and ensuring smooth client communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client & Sales Support: Act as a key contact for client and prospect queries, managing communication and ensuring prompt follow-up.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct market research on target prospects, industries, and competitors; assist in portfolio performance analysis and provide quantitative support as needed.
- Meeting Preparation & Coordination: Work with Sales Directors to schedule and track meetings and calls; oversee preparation of materials and ensure RFPs are coordinated internally, with input into final messaging.
- Communication & Collaboration: Coordinate communication between internal teams (sales, legal, compliance, admin, marketing) and external prospects or consultants, ensuring effective and timely updates.
- Account Management: Handle the start-up process for new client accounts, ensuring all necessary documentation and internal procedures are followed.
- Team Collaboration: Attend meetings (where possible), write detailed meeting notes, track actions, and ensure effective follow-up on key deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2 -5 years of experience in a similar role with an investment management firm is required.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree; IMC preferred, and working towards CFA is desirable.
- Analytical & Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with a high proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software. Experience with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) and performance tools like FactSet or Morningstar is an advantage.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on professionalism and clarity.
- Client-Focused: Strong service mentality with a commitment to responding quickly and professionally to client and internal needs.
