Location: Workington, Cumbria Hours of work: 37 Hours Role & Responsibilities: – Carry out radiological protection monitoring – Measure radiation doses and contamination levels – Provide protection advice to facility operators – Produce survey sheets, reports and data presentations – Identify trends to detect areas for improvement – Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements – Report any areas of concern to the relevant parties – Provide emergency responses for health physics related matters Qualifications/Experience Required: – City and Guilds level 1 Radiation Protection or NVQ level 2 in Radiation Protection Ideally applicants should also have: – IOSH working safely certificate UK National Security Vetting Status – Applicants must be able to obtain UKSV SC Clearance.
