Pertemps are currently recruiting several HGV Class 2 Drivers (Cat C) to work on a regular ongoing basis for our client DHL Nisa based in Scunthorpe. You will be required to deliver ambient or frozen goods to Nisa Local convenience stores or distribution centres, this will involve unloading at the client sites with an electric pump truck although minimal manual handling is involved.
Before you start, you'll need to pass a Class 2 HGV site assessment / induction, this is paid on completion and will take 8 hrs and includes:
- A drug and alcohol test (on site urine sample)
- Multiple choice questionnaire surrounding WTD and general knowledge
- Pre checks / Coupling up
- Driving assessment on the road
- 5 day site induction (Classroom based)
What shifts and start times are available? You will be starting between 04:00 - 06:00 and can work Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday.
How much will I be paid?
- Monday to Friday = £16.23ph for basic hours
- Overtime paid after 42 hrs = £21.59ph
- Weekends = £18.26
- £50pw Bonus for doing store deliveries
- £10 bonus if you are asked to start before 04:00
