As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team at the Park Royal branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with trade customers, including builders, contractors, and developers
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive area growth
  • Regularly visit customer sites and manage key accounts
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy
  • Report sales activity, pipeline, and KPIs to management
  • Be available outside standard hours on occasion to support key customer needs and urgent account matters
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience within the Builders Merchants or construction supply sector
  • Strong knowledge of building materials and local construction markets
  • Knowledge and experience in purchasing from both first- and second-tier suppliers to ensure full order management through to approval
  • Proficient in Bistrack or other merchant-based ERP systems
  • Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking customer engagement and pipeline
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and professional
  • Full UK driving licence; local area knowledge of West London and surrounding counties preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
