My client is looking for a supply chain specialist based in Cheltenham who has a background in the aerospace/defence industry.
The Supply Chain function manages the processes associated with Indirect and Direct Procurement of goods and materials required to meet the operational demands of the business and the logistics of ensuring that materials are available for operations, and the completed products/services are delivered to the customer.
Subcontractor management oversees the lifecycle of one or more subcontracts and will be responsible for identifying the specific needs for a project, and identifying and qualifying potential contractors.
Specialist to lead supplier transformation with a core number of suppliers. The intention is to regionalise this resource to minimise travel and increase supplier touch time.
