My client is a small yet well-established machine shop specialising in machined parts and components used in a variety of industries. My client is currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will be confident programming online at the machine using Fanuc controls and have a strong background in producing high-quality, close-tolerance components.
- Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes
- Performing machine maintenance and ensuring safe operating procedures
- Conducting inspection to ensure quality standards are met and maintained
The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 with an early finish on a Friday.
Proven experience programming CNC machines online.
Familiarity with mill/turn or sliding head machines.
The salary offered for this position is £30,000–£36,500, depending on experience and ability to meet key qualifications and skills.
