Senior Mechanical Engineer

Why you?

We are looking for a Building Services Mechanical Engineer with a minimum HND in Mechanical Building Services. Experience within a Building Services Consultancy is preferred, although Project or Contract Managers from a Design and Build background will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will:

Be confident taking a project from concept to completion, using client brief documents and preparing proposal documents
Be able to develop this information into fully coordinated mechanical drawings and specifications for both tender and construction
Manage projects effectively and resolve technical and construction issues related to mechanical installations
Attend monthly design meetings, assess contractor valuations, carry out site inspections, witness testing of installations and produce snagging reports
Be computer literate. Knowledge of CYMAP and AutoCAD is beneficial but not essential as training can be provided
Be capable of designing systems including heating installations, air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, VRV or VRF installations, water services and sanitary ware
