Join a dynamic and growing data-led sports marketing agency as a Lead Data Analyst, delivering strategic and technical insights across some of the world's biggest sports brands. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of sports, data and strategy in a fast-paced, client-facing role. The role offers a 50/50 balance between hands-on technical work and strategic thinking. This agency has been a key player in the sports marketing landscape for over 20 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver analytics work across multiple client projects (typically 3-4 at a time).
- Design and deliver bespoke analytics projects such as segmentation, LTV modelling, pricing optimisation, and CRM integration.
- Conduct full data audits for clients and create strategic roadmaps for digital and data transformation.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, BigQuery, and Looker.
- Merge online and offline data sources into unified reporting structures.
- Act as a product owner for data-driven initiatives, translating client needs into actionable deliverables.
- Liaise with stakeholders both internally and externally, including client strategy teams and internal board members.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong SQL and experience working with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery.
- Dashboarding and reporting experience with Power BI and/or Looker.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modelling.
- Experience delivering bespoke analytics projects using 1st party data (e.g. LTV, segmentation, churn models).
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables in parallel in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to Tableau, Google Analytics, Salesforce, or other major digital and CRM platforms.
- Experience in the sports industry or retail working with complex and large datasets.
