Electronics Engineer – Berkshire, £Competitive Salary + Benefits Unknown Resourcing are seeking an Electronics Engineer for R&D Engineering client based in Berkshire, a leading design consultancy firm specialising in delivering innovative and custom-engineered solutions across various industries. We are seeking a talented Electronics Engineer (various level) to join a dynamic team, working closely with clients and multi-disciplinary teams to design, develop, and bring electronic products from concept to production. Electronics Engineer Responsibilities: Circuit Design & PCB Layout : Develop schematic designs and layouts using Altium . Firmware Development : Write embedded firmware using IAR, Keil, or Eclipse IDE . Embedded Programming : Develop efficient code in C, C++, or Python for microcontroller-based systems. Prototype Testing & Commissioning : Validate and troubleshoot prototypes, ensuring they meet design requirements. Verification & Reporting : Conduct thorough testing of designs, document results, and provide detailed reports. Client Interaction & Collaboration : Present designs and progress to clients, and collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and designers to meet project goals. Electronics Engineer Requirements: Degree : An excellent degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer science Engineering . Embedded Systems : Proven experience in embedded electronics design and programming. Analogue Electronics : Strong knowledge of ADC , OpAmp , and analogue circuit design. Power Supply Design : Solid understanding of isolated and non-isolated power supply design. Simulation Tools : Experience with circuit simulation tools such as LTspice or TINA . Microcontroller Experience : Hands-on experience with STM32 , NXP , NRF52 , ESP32 , PIC , or similar microcontrollers. Communication Protocols : Familiarity with RS232 , RS485 , USB , SPI , I2C , UART , 1-wire , MIPI , and LVDS . EMC Design : Practical experience in design for EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility). Problem-Solving Skills : Self-motivated with the ability to tackle new and challenging problems. Communication Skills : Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Nice to Have: Medical Device Experience : Experience in working with medical devices . Regulatory Standards : Knowledge of regulatory standards such as IEC 60601 , IEC 62304 , and ISO 14971 . Embedded software development using RTOS (TheadX, FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS etc.). GUI Libraries : Experience with GUI libraries such as LVGL , TouchGFX , or QT . FPGA Development : Familiarity with FPGA design. Wireless Communication : Experience with BLE , Wi-Fi , or LPWAN . Antenna Design : Knowledge of antenna design for wireless communication systems.
