Software Developer .Net SQL

Here at Peacocks we have a fantastic opportunity for a Software Developer to join our IT department. The role of Software Developer is to write, modify, debug, test and document software applications which may consist of stand-alone, interfaces and any that access servers or services. The holder of the role will use source debuggers, visual development environments, source control and other software required to deliver all aspects of their responsibilities. Researching, designing and writing new software based on technical specifications using Peacocks’ chosen development languages. T. testing strategy. Performing unit and system testing of new software based on written test plans. Training the users and the training department in the use of the developed software. Writing operational documentation. Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects. Continually updating technical knowledge/skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and other material. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, and .net Working experience with reporting tools is essential Strong knowledge of database management systems including SQL and MySQL.
