HGV Class 1 Driver Due to Fleet expansion, Plantforce are looking to recruit a Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at our Midlands Depot. This HGV Class 1 Driver role offers an opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and to be part of the ongoing and future success. The HGV Class 1 Driver role: * Loading, unloading and transporting Construction plant equipment and attachments * Loading and securing each load in compliance with the required regulation. * Carrying out and completing delivery and collection checks on each load ensuring all aspects of the load are captured using a tablet based reporting system. * Daily vehicle checks and inspections on the allocated vehicle reporting any defects to the transport manager immediately ensuring constant compliance in line with regulations and company standards. * Upkeep, light maintenance and housekeeping of your allocated vehicle. * Monday to Friday and some weekend work as and when required. Requirements for the HGV Class 1 Driver: * A Clean Class 1 licence * Candidates will ideally have experience in abnormal loads, loading, securing and transporting of plant equipment * NPORS or CPCS Loader Securer advantageous * FORS eLearning modules advantageous * Excellent communication skills. * Good attention to detail. * Good initiative. * Good time management. * Good organisational skills. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working on their own initiative and confident in their ability but who also enjoys working as part of an enthusiastic team in a fast paced environment and who takes pride in their work.
