Egis is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Project Manager to support key strategic initiatives within ongoing nuclear projects, as well as contribute to the development of innovative solutions in civil works (CW) design and upcoming tenders. This position requires a problem-solving mindset, cross-functional coordination, and a strong understanding of project delivery in a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Support to Egis Project Director for SZC Contract (25%)
- Provide high-level support to the Egis Project Director for major contracts, assisting in strategic decision-making and execution.
- Analyze project performance, risks, and key challenges to provide actionable recommendations for optimizing delivery.
- Assist in the preparation of high-level reports, presentations, and strategic reviews to support senior management.
- Contribute to the alignment of internal teams, ensuring Egis delivers on commitments efficiently.
- Project Manager - Civil Works Design Innovation (25%)
- Lead and coordinate the innovation roadmap for civil works design, ensuring integration with the French design teams.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and digital innovation in civil engineering design.
- Support the implementation of new methodologies, tools, and best practices in the delivery of nuclear civil works.
- Facilitate technical exchanges between the UK and French engineering teams to drive alignment and efficiency.
- Support for Major Tenders (50%)
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of strategic tenders for major nuclear projects (2025-2026).
- Support the development of technical proposals, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to position Egis competitively in the market.
- Ensure lessons learned from current projects are integrated into bid strategies for future opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of resolving project challenges.
- Proven experience in civil engineering project management, ideally within the nuclear or large infrastructure sector.
- Familiarity with UK and French nuclear project frameworks, including regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and international collaborations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of tendering processes and strategic business development is a plus.
