As a member of the payroll team at ICL Boulby, you will work closely with HR and Finance departments to provide operational payroll support primarily to ICL Boulby but also to support with the other entities across the ICL group in the UK as required.
We are looking for an experienced payroll administrator who will be responsible for:
- Preparing and processing monthly payrolls for all employees across the UK ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll data to our UK payroll service provider.
- Processing all new starters and leavers in HRIS and Payroll software and producing required documents (P45, etc).
- Calculating correct amounts to pay, deductions, overtime, bonuses, allowances for employees, etc.
- Running monthly payroll reports for the finance teams.
- Pension enrolment.
- Responding to payroll-related enquiries from employees and resolving any associated discrepancies.
- Processing invoices within SAP.
- Coordinating with HR and Finance departments regarding payroll-related issues.
- Providing support for annual audits and other financial reporting as needed.
- General office administration and other duties to help ensure the smooth running of a busy office.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working within a payroll department is required, along with a working knowledge of payroll processes, tax laws, and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential. Experience in using payroll software would be advantageous.
