Nexus Studios Shoreditch Nexus Studios is seeking a dynamic CG Lead to join us on a fixedterm contract taking the reins to inspire teams and deliver exceptional creative projects. Were known for our wideranging work across 2D VFX and immersive AR/VR experiencesand we need a leader who can elevate that further. We strive to foster a flexible working environment for our team. In this role youll enjoy a mix of instudio collaboration and remote flexibility with 23 days per week based at our Shoreditch studio. The target start date for this role is November. Role Overview: As CG Lead youll play a pivotal role in scoping scheduling and executing projects from early pitches to final delivery. Collaborating closely with Directors youll shape the creative and technical direction guiding teams to high standards of quality timeliness and budget control. This is an exciting role for someone passionate about bringing innovative projects to life and contributing to Nexuss acclaimed portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Lead Teams to Creative Excellence : Inspire and oversee CG teams in the creation of toptier 3D and comp work for a range of styles and formats troubleshooting both technical and creative issues as they arise. Collaborate with Directors : Partner closely with Directors to tackle creative challenges finding technical solutions that elevate the vision and execution. Consult on Pitches and Briefs : Play a crucial role in the early stages of projects offering insights on resourcing and approach to set each project up for success. Manage Project Schedules and Budgets : Take responsibility for resource planning team structure and keeping projects on track with clear efficient scheduling. Client Communication : Act as a key client liaison ensuring clarity around project expectations and maintaining open lines throughout production. Technical Leadership : Troubleshoot effectively across various stages of the production pipeline leveraging your expertise in 3D and compositing to ensure seamless delivery.
