HGV Drivers
Pertemps Crewe are currently looking for HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 Drivers to work out of their prestigious client based in Crewe.
For this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 Driver role, you will be responsible for:
- Driving a boxed sided heavy goods vehicle
- Deliveries of caged chilled, frozen and ambient caged goods to stores across the Northwest
- Average 3 to 4 drops
- You will be expected to roll the cages onto the tail lift and the store will do the rest, there is a lot of town centre deliveries
- Shift length on average are between 8-10 hours
For this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 Driver role, you will need:
- CE Licence
- Full UK Licence
- Digi + CPC Card
- No more than 6 points
- To have held your licence for a minimum of 18 months with 18 months of experience
Details of this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 Driver role:
You will need to do a 3-day assessment – Day 1 is Driving and Theory, Day 2 and 3 are buddy days – these are paid after your first shift
They are looking for start times between 0200 – 0500 and 1200 – 1800
You need to be able to work weekends
