We are working with a bespoke constructor, with an excellent reputation in the super prime residential market. The company are a major player in the exclusive residential space, working with very high net worth clients to design and construct some of the UK's finest homes. Due to continued success and growth in this market, we are seeking a very experienced Quantity Surveyor, either with experience in the sector or with a keen interest in moving to this exciting market.
The company operate across the south, and you will be expected to travel to projects as required across the South (including Central London). You will be an experienced QS, with extensive experience dealing directly with clients focussed intently on quality and best value. It is usual for the end user clients to be present on site and to be actively involved with the design and delivery of architectural detail, and as such the successful applicant will have to demonstrate excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills when dealing directly with the client.
RequirementsYou will be responsible for procuring and managing a variety of packages and material requisitions, and able to ensure that the client professional team is fully abreast of all commercial activity. You will be responsible for producing accurate CVR's and ensuring all valuations are dealt with efficiently. You will also be responsible for all sub contract measurements and payments. Experience of managing projects in excess of £20m is essential.
