As an HVAC Equipment Contract Engineer, you will be in charge of the following activities:
- Technically overseeing the HVAC equipment contract, with a specific focus on the project and configuration follow-up, in close collaboration with layout and HVAC system teams, the contractor, as well as with our client.
- Carrying out the surveillance of detailed studies provided by the Contractor and associated HVAC Handover and manufacturing equipment like fans, motors, filters, water coils, dampers.
- Reviewing and commenting the Equipment Replication Justification Reports (ERJR) including drawings, procurement specifications, manufacturing, maintenance, assembly, and testing procedures.
- Coordinating and conducting technical assessments of the Contractor requests as Non-Conformance Report, Exemption Requests, Technical Queries.
- Serving as the representative of the Responsible Designer HVAC contract team in various meetings with the client and the supplier.
- Reporting on the progress of equipment technical open points during fortnightly dedicated meetings with the contractor and our client.
- Managing the processing of modifications, including monitoring progress, using performance indicators, and generating reports when needed.
During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects. This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC equipment design engineering, or other relevant experience.
Knowledge of HVAC system and equipment sizing (AHU, fans, filters, water coils).
HVAC knowledge of Pressurised Water Reactor system design principles.
Experience in project configuration management.
Experience working on an EPR project, operating plant or on an industrial site.
Knowledge of nuclear safety classification.
Knowledge of UK licensing requirements for a nuclear reactor and their application.
French-speaking and reading would be an advantage.
