As a Radiographer – Mammographer, you will:
– Develop and deliver a high-quality imaging service for patients and consultants.
– Ensure patient safety and manage staff effectively.
– Oversee service improvements and cost efficiency programmes.
– Support breast clinics and perform general radiography.
– Participate in departmental quality assurance.
– Communicate effectively with staff across all hospital departments.
– Implement changes and work efficiently under pressure.

The Radiographer – Mammographer role includes:
– Annual salary of £42,000 – £48,000.
– Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week
– Short shifts split across early, mid, and late hours.
– Occasional Saturday hours on a rolling rota.

The ideal Radiographer – Mammographer will have:
– A BSc in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
– HCPC Registration and evidence of CPD.
– At least 3 years of post-graduate experience.
– Experience in general radiography, with mammography experience being desirable.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
