RPG Developer - Remote

Job Title: RPG Developer Location: Hybrid – East Midlands Are you an experienced RPG Developer looking to take your career to the next level? Chapman Tate Associates is working with a leading retail organisation seeking a talented RPG Developer to join their team. As an RPG Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting RPG-based applications within a fast-paced retail environment. Design, develop, and maintain RPG programs for retail business applications. Optimise and debug code for performance and functionality improvements. Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting activities. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software on time. Strong proficiency in RPG programming (RPG IV, ILE, and Free Format). Strong understanding of retail business processes, including supply chain, inventory management, and sales. Knowledge of SQL and DB2 databases. Exposure to modern development practices like DevOps, CI/CD, or Cloud Technologies is a plus. Competitive salary and bonus scheme.
