Infrastructure Architect (VMware Specialist) – DV Clearance Mandatory Contract Duration: 6 months (potential extension) Urgent requirement – ASAP Job Type: Contractor, Fully Onsite We are seeking a dedicated VMware Specialist to join our client and play a pivotal role in developing an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform using advanced VMware technologies. Configure and optimise VMware vRealize Orchestrator (VRO) workflows to automate provisioning, deployment, and management tasks. Manage VMware Cloud Director (VCD) instances, including setting up resource pools, organizations, virtual data centers, and networking. -Implement and configure NSX-T for software-defined networking and security within the virtualised environment. -Provide technical expertise and support during testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to VMware infrastructure. -Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. -Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and customisation of VMware environments. -Strong understanding of software-defined networking (SDN) principles and experience with NSX-T configuration and management. -Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. -To apply for this Infrastructure Architect position, please submit your CV detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in this role.
