I'm currently recruiting for an exciting Bid Project Manager opportunity with a rapidly growing ISP and managed service provider that specialises in supporting the UK education sector. With year-on-year growth of over 20%, this business is continuing to expand its footprint among schools and multi-academy trusts nationwide. This is a brilliant role for a highly organised and detail-oriented Bid Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The role is predominantly remote, but you’ll need to be available for occasional meetings and bid coordination sessions.
The Opportunity:
As Bid Project Manager, you’ll be critical to the bid lifecycle – coordinating bid activity, managing project timelines, ensuring the quality and timely submission of all tenders, and maintaining the bid content library. You’ll work closely with the Chief Sales Officer, Sales Manager, Technical Pre-Sales Engineer, and wider teams to support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bid schedules, project plans, and ensure all deadlines are met
- Organise and facilitate bid kick-off meetings, updates, and review sessions
- Collate, proofread, and professionally present bid documents
- Administer bid portals, maintain detailed records, and oversee content quality
- Provide logistical support during contract negotiations and handovers
- Produce regular activity and pipeline reports for senior management
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in bid or project coordination, ideally within ICT or education sectors
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with bid portals
- Project management qualifications are desirable but not essential
