Blue Arrow is looking for a Temp to Perm Transport Supervisor to work with one of the leading haulage companies in the UK.
Job Role
- Co-ordinate the transport operations on site and on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations.
- Work closely with the onsite customer ensuring all operational requirements are met.
- Maintain a health and safety presence on site and challenge noncompliance.
- Ensure vehicle defects are reported and actioned in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are investigated in a timely manner.
- Continually look to improve the service we provide offering ideas and recommendations, as necessary.
What you need
- Good administrative skills.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills - you'll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders.
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook.
Rotating Shift Pattern
- Wk1 - Mon-Fri 06:00-14:30 (30 min unpaid lunch).
- Wk2 - Mon-Thurs 13:30 - 22:00 Friday 11:30-20:00 (30 min unpaid lunch).
Pay Rate £12.21
Experience in a similar role would be good but if they don't have the experience but have the appetite to learn and a great attitude get in touch.
