The Growth Consultants are proud to be partnering with an IPP seeking an experienced Asset Manager (wind/solar) to look after existing and onboarding new assets to the portfolio.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Do due diligence (technical, commercial, contractual) on new projects, focusing on asset performance/operations.
- Review asset specs, history, and paperwork for portfolio fit.
- Monitor daily operations, ensuring safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
- Handle technical data; monitor analytics for issue spotting and performance improvements.
- Report on asset performance, financials, and efficiency.
- Manage asset onboarding/handover and integrate new projects.
- Maintain risk matrices, asset directories, and site documentation.
- Build relationships with landowners, investors, and offtakers.
- Monitor/report on KPIs and meet targets.
- Oversee contracts and manage negotiations.
- Support performance measurement frameworks, policies, etc.
- Collaborate on technical risks, requirements, and optimisation.
- Do financial analysis (budgeting, forecasting, cost control, payment approvals) and work with financial providers.
What You Need:
- Engineering degree (or similar).
- 5+ years' relevant experience.
- Good grasp of renewable energy tech.
- Due diligence and project acquisition experience (operations focus).
- Wind/solar asset and monitoring platform experience.
- Strong communication and analytical skills; detail-oriented; international experience a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and take ownership.
- International travel required.
