Evolve Psychology Services is an award-winning, NHS and HSE approved independent psychology and neurodevelopmental practice, founded by Dr. Laura Powling. We provide high-quality services to clients across the UK and Ireland, specialising in neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for children, families and adults. Our offerings also include expert witness assessments for courts and parole boards, as well as assessments in criminal/prison law, family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases. We have a proven track record of delivering exceptional assessments and fulfilling NHS contracts.

We are delighted to announce the launch of our Adult Services, and we are now actively taking referrals. We are looking for clinicians who are occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, learning disability nurses, or mental health nurses.

Some aspects of the role may be undertaken remotely. We have multiple positions available—both remote and hybrid—with some in-person work required for hybrid roles, to attract candidates with varying levels of experience and geographical locations, including senior roles. Hybrid roles must be able to travel to one of our locations, to undertake face-to-face assessments.

The role requires conducting comprehensive specialist assessments, including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected Autism, using established diagnostic tools. Assessments of mental health conditions may also be required. All assessments are undertaken on behalf of the NHS via GP referral.

The clinician is also responsible for writing assessment reports in a timely and professional manner, as well as providing appropriate recommendations and interventions. Additionally, the clinician may be involved in supervising and supporting junior staff members depending on experience.
