Our very busy Murrayfield Day Nursery are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join the management team as a Quality and Development Manager supporting the Head Of Room and Team within the room and working alongside the Management Team in ensuring best practice throughout your room and with the other Quality and Development Managers for the Nursery. Ideal candidates would be someone in a similar role or if you are a manager or deputy manager looking for a "more hands on role" looking at quality and ensuring best practice supporting training together with being a senior team leader. Hours are 38 per week covering 5 days with generous benefits. The Murrayfield Nursery is part of CC Nurseries and is based in Edinburgh at our busy 90 place nursery we offer a homefromhome environment led by our passionate and caring team our nursery is filled with handpicked resources (natural where possible) to encourage selfdirected play and discovery. Outside we have a large secure outdoor space including fire pit fish pond and outdoor classroom as well as a separate area for the youngest children to enjoy fun. Requirements As a Nursery Quality and Development Manager you will: Support all teams within the Nursery working alongside the Manager. Work with the Nursery Room Leader in ensuring best practice within the room Ensure that the teams are providing stimulating and purposeful experiences environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child staff parent and visitor always Support the Room Leader in leading their teams together with supporting their training needs to ensure best practice always.
