Our client is a Heavy Manufacturing business that supports complex projects within highly regulated sectors. We are seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices across all business operations. This role ensures adherence to policies and procedures to protect the wellbeing of employees and stakeholders while maintaining compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
This position is ideal for a proactive and experienced professional with a background in health, safety, and environmental management. The role suits someone with experience within highly regulated Manufacturing and experience working around Welding & Fabrication environments.
- Provide advice and assistance to managers to ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular workplace audits and health, safety, and environmental surveys, ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Develop and deliver induction training and maintain employee training records.
- Coordinate communications and initiatives related to safety, health, and environmental matters, including toolbox talks and training.
- Monitor and report HSE trends, risks, and compliance to senior management.
Proven experience as a HSE professional within Manufacturing.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 0800-1700 (Mon-Thurs), 0800-1200 (Fri)
25 days Holidays + Bank Holidays
