About the Role: Our award-winning client is expanding their engineering team and is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their office. This role offers flexible hybrid working.
As an Embedded Engineer, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the complete design process, from initial concept through to testing and manufacturing, working alongside a small, talented team.
- Embedded C programming
- Bare metal development
- Experience with RS232, SPI, CAN, RS485, I2C
- PIC Microchip microcontrollers ideally
The ideal candidate will be an experienced embedded engineer with a background of delivering successful projects and working within an engineering environment. Your expertise will include Embedded C programming, bare metal development, and knowledge of various communication protocols (SPI, I2C, RS232, Ethernet, etc.). While not required, experience with electronics design or developing data acquisition systems would be highly beneficial.
Your primary focus will be developing embedded software solutions for bespoke control systems, enhancing existing products, and driving new product development. You'll be involved in all stages of the process—from high-level architecture to low-level implementation—and will play a key role in customer support and generating detailed documentation.
