We have an exciting opportunity with a fast-growing UK media organisation for a Senior Broadcast Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Broadcast Engineer, you will play a pivotal role ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of cutting-edge broadcast systems and equipment.
- Lead the response to and resolution of technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to live broadcasts.
- Provide both remote and on-site technical support for broadcast equipment, including troubleshooting hardware and software in real time.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, encouraging professional growth and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in project work and contribute to the introduction of new technologies and initiatives.
- Maintain thorough documentation of support requests, solutions, and equipment configurations.
- Be available for on-call support during critical broadcasts or system failures.
Proven experience as a Broadcast Engineer in a live television environment. Strong understanding of a range of broadcast production systems and equipment covering video, audio, intercom, cameras, and record/playback systems. Hands-on experience with broadcast graphics systems and NDI workflows is highly desirable. Solid knowledge of IP networking and its application in broadcast environments. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and early and late finishes (no overnights).
