The predicted salary is between 32000 - 48000 £ per year.

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the overall management of the commercial properties.

You will:

  • Manage technical services, together with management of all associated contracts
  • Be responsible for the control of all building services, maintenance and repairs
  • Manage all refurbishment projects
  • Ensure that all plant, back up and monitoring systems are maintained in good functioning order at all times, including the testing of all essential systems on a regular basis and in accordance with any relevant legislation
  • Manage the support team and make any necessary adjustments
  • Control and manage budgets for all booked jobs
  • Ensure all procedures are adhered to by all relevant contractors and in accordance with current legislation
  • Be responsible for the preparation of benchmarking exercise for all relevant contracts
  • Ensure frequent checks are carried out to ensure cost effectiveness against market trends and that value for money is realised for all services
  • Manage the M&E related incidents/outages

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a background in electronics or mechanics within facilities or maintenance roles
  • Have excellent knowledge of building systems
  • Have previous experience within commercial buildings
  • Have excellent communication skills and building strong working relationships
  • Have the ability to liaise with people at all levels
  • Have advanced working knowledge on Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge on Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. In return, the client offers 20 days holiday plus BH, pension plan, parking on site, health insurance following probation and company related bonus.
