Are you calm, supportive and enjoy problem solving in your approach to work? We are looking for a caring, professional and person centred individual to join our Out of Hours advisory desk at Creative Support.

Creative Support is an established provider of mental health and learning disability support services, with our Head Office based in the centre of Stockport. As an Advisor on the Out of Hours desk, you are part of an important wider team who delivers high quality customer service, advice and support to our staff and service users 24/7 nationwide.

The role involves receiving, logging and responding to a variety of telephone calls that come into the Out of Hours Desk. You will provide effective telephone and administration support to assist in the key functions of our waking night service. This role is suitable for someone who is good at listening, enjoys fulfilling a duty of care, and likes to feel part of a valuable team.

This role is perfect for someone who is looking to gain insight into the social care sector and enjoys responding to a fast paced environment. The Out of Hours service runs with the support from a qualified and trained senior advisor, with wider oversight from the 24/7 Senior On-Call for more serious incidents, safeguardings and emergencies. You must be available to work on a rota system fulfilling up to 3 x 12 hour night shifts 20:00 – 08:00 per week. The rota is set well in advance to facilitate people as far as possible.
